Today on this 2007 Dodge Nitro we're doing a test fit of the Carpod Walled Cargo Carrier. This is 23 by 47 has 450 pound weight capacity and works with 2 inch hitches only. The first thing we're going to do is take a few measurements. We're going to start off with our ground clearance. Just underneath our carrier we're going to have about 20 3/4 inches. Overall to our vehicle we're adding about 36 3/4 inches. Our closest point is going to be about 8 inches. On our Nitro we do have a single passenger side exhaust here. more

Today on our 2007 Dodge Nitro we're doing a test fit of the Curt 20x60 Cargo Carrier. That part number is C18150. This has a weight capacity of 500 pounds and works with 2-inch hitches only. The first thing we're going to do while it's on our vehicle is take a few measurements. We're going to start off with our ground clearance. It's going to be about 17 1/2 inches, since we do have that raised shank in the back to lift our carrier even higher than our hitch. Overall to our our vehicle, we're adding about 30 1/2 inches, and our closest point is going to be about 9 1/2 inches there. Now with our Nitro we do have a single passenger side exhaust. more

It's made of a sturdy steel construction with a folding design, and features a weight capacity of 450 pounds. The part number on that is M2205. As you can see, we've already got the Carpod unfurled here, on the rear of our Grand Caravan. It's already sitting in our receiver tube. You can see it's a nice, large design that's going to give us ample storage space for our cargo. The walls are going to help keep that cargo contained, and we have plenty of place to run straps or bungee cords over the top to secure our cargo in place. Today on our 2010 Dodge Grand Caravan we'll be doing a test of the 20x48 CURT Cargo Carrier. This is for inch-and-a-quarter and two-inch hitches. It's made out of a sturdy steel construction and ready to carry 300 pounds. It's part number is C18110. As you can see, we've already got it installed on our Caravan and these are the dimensions I was referring to. We have 20 inches here and we have 40 inches here across the rear of our Caravan. It has a nice steel mesh flooring design on here which is going to allow dirt and debris to fall through and not build up in the cargo carrier itself and we've got numerous tie-down points so we can secure our gear as we're going down the road. I'll get you a couple measurements here so you can see how this is going to interact with your Caravan and see if it's the right choice for you. more

Today on this 2014 Dodge Grand Caravan, we're going to be test fitting the 20 by 48 Cargo Carrier, part number C18110. This Cargo Carrier has a 300 pound carrying capacity. It also has this nice mesh floor, which makes it easy to clean. All around the border of the Cargo Carrier, we have these points here which you can use as a tie down for either your ratchet straps or your bungee cords. With the Cargo Carrier in this position, measuring from the bumper we've added about 26 inches to this edge here. Ground clearance is about 15 1/2 inches. more

Today, on our 2016 Dodge Grand Caravan, we're doing a test fit of the Curt 20x60 Cargo Carrier. That part number is C18150. Now, this has a 500 pound weight capacity and is designed to work with 2-inch hitches. While we have this on our vehicle, we're going to start off by taking a few measurements here. Our ground clearance is going to be first, at about 16 inches. Overall to our vehicle we are adding about 26 1/4 inches. Our closest point is going to be able 5 1/2 inches away. Now, on our Grand Caravan, we do have a single passenger side exhaust here. It comes just about straight out, although, it's lower than our carrier. We're sitting about 11 inches there. If you do plan on carrying any heat-sensitive materials, I would do so towards the middle or even towards the driver's side there. Let's check our hatch clearance here. As you can see, we are not going to make any contact at all, with any point of our carrier. We check our break over point, though. We're going to break over pretty early and pretty low. more

It gives you the option to put a cargo carrier in addition to those. But if you choose to just get it alone, let's go ahead and go over a few of the features. Today at our 2014 Dodge Grand Caravan we're doing a test fit of the CURT cargo carrier, part number C18151. Now we have it on our vehicle, it's dimensions are 20 x 60. It can hold up to 500 pounds. It has a mesh bottom so you don't hold any debris or dirt. Let's go ahead and take a few measurements real quick, show you a few things. Now the first measure I will see here is our ground currents and that's 13 inches. more

Today on our 2014 Dodge Grand Caravan, we're going to test fit of the Curt's Cargo Carrier, part number C18150. Now, we already have it on our vehicle. This is a 20x60 cargo carrier, it holds up to 500 pounds. It has the open bottom, so you can keep out debris and dirt. Let's go ahead and check a few measurements now. Curt 24x60 Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2014 Dodge Grand Caravan- Video
Today on our 2014 Dodge Grand Caravan, we are doing a test fit of the Curt Cargo Carrier, that part number is C18153. Now we already have it on our vehicle. The dimensions are 24x60x6, it can hold up to 500 pounds. Now first thing first we will do a couple of measurements just to show you. Our ground clearance, I'm going to show you two, right here I am looking at 16.5 inches. Then I will come up here, a little closer, and there I am showing approximately 13 inches. Now overall we've added, 40 inches to our vehicle. more
